Primary schools to be closed indefinitely

Due to the ongoing situation in the country, the government primary school has been declared closed for an indefinite period.

Mahbubur Rahman Tuhin, Senior Information Officer of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, gave this information on Saturday (August 3) afternoon.

"We have withdrawn from the previous decision and the primary school will be closed from Sunday (August 4) until further orders.

Earlier, the violence surrounding the quota movement was announced on the night of July 17 in the city corporation area of the country, but the primary schools of the district and upazila levels were running.

Then on July 24, the government ordered the closure of all primary schools across the country for an indefinite period, but on July 31, the government announced that the government primary school is opening from August 4. But the primary schools in 12 city corporations and the municipal areas of Narsingdi are not opening right now.
