A father and his son have been arrested under the special operation of ‘Operation Devil Hunt’ in Nalchiti, Jhalkathi.
They were arrested from their own house in Godanda village of Subidpur Union of the upazila in the early hours of Monday (December 22).
The poison was confirmed by Nalchiti Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ariful Alam.
The arrested are - Subidpur Union Farmers League former joint general secretary Md. Razzak Sardar and his son General Secretary of No. 3 Otard Jubo League of the same Unit. Russell Sardar.
