Bangladesh Army has deployed 58 districts through 206 nationwide camps to provide overall security of public life and property and important government establishments.
This information was informed in a circular of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Friday (August 9) night.
It is also said that two groups of law enforcement forces led by the army on Thursday and Friday secured the inmates who were trying to escape from Jamalpur Central Jail and Chittagong Central Jail respectively and the attackers were resisted by the army to prevent multiple vandalism and looting in different areas of the country and also to prevent the security of the minorities.
Besides, army personnel were deployed and conducted joint patrols with other law enforcement agencies to provide security to the camp of the forcibly displaced Mitanmar citizens located in Cox's Bazar.
According to ISPR, 417 police stations across the country, including 29 police stations in the capital Dhaka, have already been deployed in the country, which will accelerate the police's lost weapons recovery operation, along with the security of various important facilities of the country including Bangabhaban, Prime Minister's Office, Mohakhali Data Center.
The notification said that the inaction of creating panic in the public mind by spreading rumors through various social media is going on. The countrymen are requested to use their own judgment in communication in the army camp without panicking.
