BNP Joint Secretary General Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie said that if those who had the power in the past were fascist governments, they would not have reached the medical camp in the flood forbears because of their blood and politics, because they were doing corruption, tyranny, and killing them, they are the miscreants of the people.
He also said that the management of the state should bring about change, the politics should also be qualitatively changed. He urged the interim government to work for the people of the country and to prosecute the murderers.
He said these things in the inaugural speech at the medical camp among the flood victims at Chandraganj Thana Kofiluddin Degree College at 12 noon on Thursday (September 19).

Later, 2 pm, tin, cash and 25 goats were distributed among 100 families under the initiative of Central BNP at Bhavanigagya Degree College in Sadar Upazila.
Central BNP Joint Secretary General Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie inaugurated the event and Central BNP Health Secretary Dr. Rafiqul Islam was present as the chief guest, Laxmipur District BNP Member Secretary Shahabuddin Sabu, Joint Convener Ed Hasibur Rahman was present as a special guest.
The chief guest said, "We were the opposition party, we are helping the flood victims with whatever we can afford."
