Local company Dream 71 to build digital platform in Lesotho, Africa

Bangladeshi IT company Dream 71 Bangladesh Limited has been awarded the contract to develop a digital platform under the 'Renewable Lesotho: Access to Affordable and Renewable Energy' project, a joint initiative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Government of Lesotho.

This local company participated in the international tender published by UNDP last January. After the final verification of the tender and the final selection of the financial and technical proposals, the Dream 71 contract was signed with UNDP. The project will start from April 2025 and will continue until April 2027.

Under the project, Dream 71 will develop a secure and web-based digital platform that will provide e-tendering, data management, real-time monitoring, and geo-spatial analysis services.

Dream 71 Managing Director Mr. Rashad Kabir said, "We are proud to be associated with this project. This is a success story for Bangladesh. We believe that sustainable technology can empower remote communities in developing countries. This platform will be a powerful agent of change for the people of Lesotho." Press Release
