10 accused including BNP-Chhatradal leader Ukhita murder case

To save his Ukhita boy from Cox's Bazar, the terrorist attack was killed by terrorists and 10 people, including BNP and Chhatra Dal leaders and workers, have been accused in the case.

Abdur Rahman, son of the deceased Chaitada Khatun, filed a case at Ukhita Thana at around 8 pm on Monday.

Chaitada Khatun (55) is a resident of Taipalong village of Rajapalong Uni, of Upazila and wife of local Sabbir Ahmed.

According to the statement of the case, a group of people attacked Abdur Rahman in a dispute in Typalong village on Saturday night and when he came to the ground to protect the boy, they beat Chaitada Khatun to death.

The case is upazila BNP member Mizan Sikder, Chhatra Dal leader Hasem Sikder Jisan, government health department ambulance driver Shamsul Alam, number 7 and 3rd BNP president Abdul Karim, Chhatra Dal leader Zulfikar Akash, Otard BNP general secretary Chaited Babul, United Sramik Dal (South) president Saiful Islam Sikdar, Jahangir Alam, Jamal Uddin and Raq Uddin.

Abdur Rahman said, "My mother was killed in front of me. I have filed a case against those whom I have seen at the scene."

Ukhita police station officer-in-charge (OC) Mujibur Rahman said that the case has been accepted based on the written complaint of the deceased's son's son, and an operation has been conducted to arrest the accused.
