They held this program on Sunday (August 11) afternoon in Upazila Sadar Hajihat.
In front of the upazila BNP office, the joyous procession took place with the participation of thousands of leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliated organizations and held a rally around various samsaks.
Under the chairmanship of Upazila BNP President Abdul Quader, Central BNP's industrial and commerce secretary and former member of parliament ABM Ashraf Uddin Nijan was the chief guest.
Upazila BNP member secretary Nurul Huda Chowdhury's moderation was spoken by Upazila BNP's joint Akhbat M Didar Hossain, BNP leader Abdul Otadud Howladar, Farhad Hossain, Md. Mosleuddin, Yusuf Pattori etc.
The speakers called upon the leaders and activists to do politics peacefully by avoiding violence.
