Habiganj's Nabiganj upazila has been injured in the clash between the two sides over agricultural land and dominance.
The incident took place on Monday (December 22) afternoon in Mandarkandi village of Kalitarbhanga Unity of the upazila.
According to the police and local sources, Muhit Mitar had been in conflict with Samu and Abdul Hai of Mandarkandi village for a long time in the agricultural land and dominance. Due to that dispute, men and women of the two sides in the clash between the two sides in the country's weapons and weapons were launched.
In the two-hour long clash, more than half a hundred people were injured and the injured were rescued and sent to Nabiganj Upazila Health Complex and Habiganj Modern Sadar Hospital.
On receiving the news, Nabiganj police reached the spot and brought the situation under control. Later, a group of army from the Banitchong army camp normalized the situation at the scene.
Nabiganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Monatem Meta confirmed the truth of the incident and told Kalbela that the situation is now normal and the area has been deployed with additional police.
