Muhib, the elder brother of Lohagajer Ishmamul Haque of Chittagong who lost his life in the capital Dhaka in the quota reform movement, has been given a job.
Chittagong Deputy Commissioner (DC) Abul Basar Mohammad Fakhruzzaman appointed Muhib as office assistant in Chittagong Zoo on Wednesday morning.
Lohagara Upazila Executive Officer Inamul Hashan was present at this time.
Earlier on Monday afternoon, Chittagong Deputy Commissioner Abul Basar Mohammad Fakhruzzaman went to Darjiparat Ishmam's house in Amirabad Union of Lohagara Upazila and assured him of meeting his family and giving him a job.
The DC also announced that the dirt road near his house will be paved in memory of the deceased Ishmam and this road will be named after Ishmam.
Ishmamul Haque (17) was shot in the procession of the anti-discrimination student movement in Chankharpool area of the capital on August 5. He was rescued and taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. The next day (August 6) he was shifted to the ICU at 11:00 pm. He was undergoing treatment there on August 7 at 4:30 pm. Then he died at 4:30 pm.
