Full release of the High Court on the reinstatement of the quota

The High Court has declared the full 27-page full sentence of the cancellation of the quota system in government jobs.

On Sunday (July 14), Justice KM Kamrul Quader and Justice Khizir Hawat's High Court published the ruling on June 5. Earlier on June 5, the High Court declared the decision to cancel the first and second class freedom fighter quota system invalid.

Then on June 9, the state party appealed to stay the High Court verdict and sent it to the Appellate Division for hearing the application on the same day. On July 4, a six-judge appellate bench headed by Chief Justice Obaidul Hasan was a government service. The High Court ruled that the decision to cancel the freedom fighter quota system in the first and second class was invalid and the High Court ruled that on July 10, the Appellate Division gave the status quo for four weeks.

Incidentally, on October 4, 2018, the Ministry of Public Administration issued a circular abolishing the existing quota system in government jobs and first class posts.
