After the fall of Hasina, BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia and most of the party leaders and activists have been released from prison, but the cases against the party's acting chairman Tarek Rahman have not been withdrawn, due to which he could not return to the country. Tariq Rahman will return to the country as soon as he is known to be in the state of BNP's law enforcement secretary Barrister Kathma Kamal.
He said that BNP's acting chairman Tariq Rahman has respect for the law and the court, so all his cases will be dealt with legally and he will return to the country as he is.
Kassar said that the BNP had come to the Chief Adviser on Saturday to take action against the High Court judges who were accused of politicizing the BNP as lawyers and we as lawyers agree with this demand.
The senior lawyer said the judiciary cannot work to implement the political agenda of any party, and hope the authorities will take appropriate action against the judges who have violated the code of conduct.
