Rumors of a mirror house in Dhanmondi 32 turned up only garbage

Extremists spread rumors of a mirror room in the basement of a newly constructed building next to Bangabandhu Bhaban at Dhanmondi 32, the birthplace of Bangladesh. After the rumors surfaced on Saturday, water irrigation began this morning. But after the water was removed, nothing was found.

The irrigation work was completed at around 2 pm today, Sunday, February 9. Earlier, fire service workers started the irrigation work of the building in front of hundreds of people at around 11:30 am. The eager crowd sat for hours, recording videos on their mobile phones, hoping to 'find something'.

However, nothing was found in the basement of the building except dirty garbage and broken brick pieces. Even nothing suspicious was found. However, no official announcement has been made by the fire service in this regard.

On-site inspection revealed that water had been pumped from under the building through irrigation systems. Dirty garbage and broken brick pieces were found underground.

Three units of the fire service are carrying out this water irrigation activity through an irrigation system. Water is lifted from the ground floor of the building under construction and discharged into Dhanmondi Lake.

Sajjad Hossain, a private sector employee, expressed his disappointment after visiting the 'mirror house' from Wari area. He said, "I came here instead of going to the office thinking it was a mirror house, but I didn't see anything except dirt and garbage."

Another young man named Akheruzzaman, who was standing next to him, said, "You can't say what isn't there. There's no point in talking about it. Many people are spreading rumors about it."

On Wednesday evening, around 7:30 pm, as part of a pre-announced program, the extremists broke through the gate of Dhanmondi-32 building and entered inside, starting vandalism. Later, at one point, they discovered an underground floor under the building under construction.

After this incident, a long floor was discovered under a nearby building. Many suspected that there was a 'mirror room' in this underground. The fire service started the work of removing the water accumulated under the building today to unravel that mystery.
