'Dangerous explosives' arrive in two containers from Pakistan! Information leak

Concerned authorities suspect that two containers of a cargo ship named 'MV Yuan Jiang Fa Zhong' arriving in Chittagong from Karachi port in Pakistan have contained dangerous explosives. Explosives of this magnitude are capable of destroying large structures and causing massive loss of life.

BDFlash has collected photos and information about the two containers carrying explosives from a Chittagong Port official who was present during the unloading of the goods. Another intelligence source confirmed that after the inspection, the two containers were detained by Navy officials for an hour. But later, the two containers were released for unknown reasons.

Among them, a photo of a container named WHLU-42617942G1 was found, with the word 'Explosive' written in a red square.

Sources present said that the explosives were found during the inspection of containers unloaded from a ship named 'MV Yuan Xiang Fa Zhong' that arrived at Chittagong Port on December 21. The containers were found to contain 'Seismic Emulsion Explosive', which is known as a high-explosive, manufactured by a Cambodian company. Customs and Navy officials conducted a physical examination of the containers in the presence of a representative of the importing company.

At that time, after explosives were discovered during testing, an order was issued to suspend the delivery of the goods, but within an hour, orders were given to release the goods on the instructions of higher authorities.

It is worth noting that the containers did not come directly from Cambodia, but rather from Pakistan to the United Arab Emirates and reached Chittagong Port. According to the information printed on the carton, the product was manufactured by a Cambodian company. However, very little information was available about the company.

To ensure confidentiality, Navy officials imposed a ban on disclosing any information about the goods. Strict restrictions were imposed on media personnel's entry and photography. After quickly unloading the goods, the officials present left the scene.

According to port sources, a specific protocol has to be followed in importing such explosive products. According to the protocol, these products fall under the category of 'Dangerous Goods'. Therefore, in addition to obtaining special permission before unloading the products, a state of alert is issued. These products are unloaded in a specific shed. But in the case of this consignment, no such protocol was followed. Rather, the responsible persons left the place in a hurry after unloading the products.

The source also said that a portion of the explosives had already left for Sylhet and the other for Keraniganj. However, the source confirmed that it was not for the army or any law enforcement or security agency.

Chittagong Port officials said the ship was mainly carrying refined sugar, mineral dolomite, soda ash, cloth rolls, scrap iron and sugarcane molasses. The ship also brought food products, lubricant oil and machine parts from Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.

However, there was no mention of these dangerous explosives in the product list. No clear information has yet been found on the purpose or on whose instructions these dangerous products were imported.
