India's letter to Bangladesh to send Pujat hilsa

India has sent a letter to Bangladesh to send hilsa on the occasion of upcoming Durga Puja, which has been asked by the Bangladesh government to export the fish importer and the exporter of hilsa.

On Tuesday (August 10), the Indian media Hindustan Times reported this information in a report.

Indian media says that every year from the first week of September, hilsa from Bangladesh is in India.

But this time, the question of whether hilsa will go or not is because the political situation in Bangladesh has changed. Every time the Sheikh Hasina government arranged to send hilsa to India, after the resignation of the former Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina, the poison of sending hilsa to India has become uncertain.
It has already indicated that Hilsa will not be given by Bangladesh.

However, Fish Importer Association has already applied to Bangladesh Government Advisor Tauhid Hossain to send hilsa to India on the occasion of Durga Puja.

On September 3, Farida Akhtar, advisor of the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, said that no hilsa will go to India.

He said, ‘Hilsha fish will be exported abroad to meet the needs of the people of the country."

The people of the country will not get hilsa, and it will not be exported, so I have asked the Ministry of Commerce to ensure that no hilsa is also allowed in India.’
