The joyous procession of the anti-discrimination movement in Faridpur

In Faridpur, various programs have been organized under the initiative of anti-discrimination movement, as part of which the students are offering joyous processions, readings of oaths, prayers and special prayers.

The Anand procession started from the broken road junction of Faridpur city on Wednesday at 10 am and ended at the government Rajendra College after the main road of the city.

The coordinator of the anti-discrimination movement, Abrar Naeem Itu, Johnny Biswas, Mohammad Arafat, Vijay, Marufa Mim, Alif Bin Sadiq, etc., said that Bangladesh has become independent again after 1971. Former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been expelled from this country, and therefore this freedom cannot be allowed to be destroyed in any way, everyone should be careful about this.

The speakers said that the leaders of the then ruling party Awami League and its affiliated organizations tortured us, injured the leaders and workers and sent them to jail with one case after another. About 57 of our agitators have to go to jail but we are not upset that the results we have got created a new history, the world today has learned to evaluate Bangladesh in a new way.

The speakers also said that the movement was started in this college on July 16. Our brothers and sisters participated in it. They were assaulted and injured by the leaders and workers of the ruling party.

The speakers declared the college free of politics for the safety of Rajendra College students and said that from now on, no student organization can do politics in this college. The college campus should be kept safe so that no evil forces can create anarchy in the country. It is also said that no activities will be done to harm the state. Besides, they urged everyone to be united in the second phase of the event.

At the end of the program, Mufti Tanveer Ahmed conducted a special prayer for the souls of those who died in the movement.
