The floods caused by heavy rains and hilly floods in Haludaghat, Dhobau and Phulpur upazilas of Mamansingh are still under water in the state of water-researched areas.

Dhobau Upazila Nirbahi Officer Nishat Sharmin said that among the total 7 units of the upazila, the flood water has decreased in Gamarila, Ghoshgaon and Dakshin Maijpasa. However, there are 9 thousand families in the flood situation in Sadar, Gotatala, Pozakandali and Bagbe.
The upazila executive officer has also known that the flood waters caused by the rain and the floods have come down to the downstream of Sinheshwar, Chandhara and Sadar Unitons of Phulpur upazila.
District Relief and Disaster Rehabilitation officer. These areas have already distributed 63 metric tons of rice, 7 lakh cash and 2000 packets of dry food.

Meanwhile, the district agriculture office sources said that among the three upazilas of the district, Dhobau upazila, 11,700 hectares of land, the crops of 11,700 hectares of land have been submerged in water. 7,600 hectares of paddy and 75 hectares of vegetable crops have been submerged in Halulutghat.
