Batting failure Bangladesh lost to England

The target was 119 runs but the medals of Bangladesh failed to score the failure of the batters. The Tigresses lost to England in their second match in the T20 World Cup. 

On Saturday (October 5), Sharjah won the toss and decided to bat England captain Heather Knight, who came to bat and collected 118 runs in the 20 overs of the Tigress bowlers.

Mita Butcher was dismissed for 23 balls in 18 balls and Danny Ott scored 41 runs off 40 balls while Nahida Akhtar, Fahima Khatun and Ritu Moni took 2 wickets each for Bangladesh.

Two Tigress openers Sathi Rani and Dilara Akhtar gave a good start when they came down to bat with a target of 119 runs, but Dilara was dismissed for 6 runs in 12 balls for 16 runs.

After 39 runs, Bangladesh lost 3 more wickets and went to the solos of Bangladesh.

Bangladesh managed to score 97 runs in the final 20 overs and Bangladesh scored 44 off 48 balls while Lynsey Smith and Charlie Dean took 2 wickets each for England.
