Former Chittagong MP ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury was arrested while fleeing to India illegally through Akhaura border in Brahmanbaria. They are also arrested in the case of several cases of Nurpur area, Hannan Mita member and son Naeem Mita, son of Kabir Bhui of Abdullahpur area.
On Thursday (September 12) morning, BGB public relations officer said. Shariful Islam confirmed the poison.
He said that Fazle Karim Chowdhury and two of his associates have been arrested from Akhauja Gazirbazar, who are all fleeing to India.
Fazle Karim Chowdhury has been in hiding since the fall of the Sheikh Hasina government on August 5 in the mass uprising of the students.
It should be noted that since 2001, ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury has been elected Member of Parliament for five consecutive times on the nomination of Awami League.
After the popular uprising on August 5, President Mohammad Sahabuddin lost the National Parliament and he lost the post of Member of Parliament.
