ACC raids sub-registrar's office in Ramganj, locks main gate

Abu Taher, Ramganj Correspondent: The Anti-Corruption Commission ACC has conducted a two-hour operation for two hours to lock the main gate of the sub-registrar office in Ramganj, Lakshmipur, on the charge of extra money in the deed registration.

Arif, Iqbal, Rahan, who came to take this service, said that the document writers have been on strike a few days ago by raising various corruption allegations against the sub-register.

Azgar Hossain, assistant director of Chandpur district office of SMT Anti-Corruption Commission, said that the name of the sub-registrar for registering the document is broken and the accused document writer Momin Uddin Zaman has taken additional ten thousand taka from the service receiver.

We have come to the ground and found the truth of this, but we will not find the involvement of the sub-register. We will file a written complaint against the document writer to the commission. Later the commission will take action in this regard.

Sub-register Sirajul Islam Khan said, "My name is broken by the registrar of registering the document, the author Momin Hossain Zaman has charged an additional ten thousand taka from the service recipient. It is a legally punishable crime. Later, I will recommend to the higher authorities to take legal action against the accused document writer. However, after seeing the best cost, the additional cost is not the right amount of money.
