Abu Taher, Ramganj Correspondent:

The former and current students of the madrasa have held a protest program after the human chain demanding the removal and arrest of AHM Soshtak Ahmed, principal of Ramganj Rabbani Kamil Madrasa in Laxmipur. In addition to the anti-Sharita statements in the past days, the students held the program at 11 am on Wednesday at 11 am on the complaint of various instems (October 16).

The protestors clashed with the other party who were in charge of the principal, and the Ramganj police station led by Ramganj police station officer-in-charge Md. Abul Bashar brought the situation to the spot. On behalf of the protesters, Md Iqbal Hossain said that there are various activities going on in the madrasa. In 2013, the DJ program was protested in the madrasa premises.

Another former student Tipu Sultan Bhui and Jamaat leader Mizanur Rahman said that the principal was against the anti-discrimination movement. He has been in the madrasa since August 5. I demand his removal.

Vice-Principal Md. Abul Kashem knows that after the arrival of the madrasa on Wednesday as usual, the current and former students of the madrasa gave me a letter. They have been removed by the current principal. Later, there was a fight outside the madrasa. I have informed the police and the army's position as the police and the army has been stationed at the police station until this report is written.
