An organization called Praveen and Pratibandha Kalyan Sanstha has distributed free rice seedlings as part of supporting the agricultural rehabilitation work of flood affected farmers in Ratapur of Lakshmipur.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Imran Khan was present as the chief guest in the distribution of paddy seedlings among farmers at the Upazila Parishad square on Wednesday, September 4.
The Upazila Nirbahi Officer said that the initiative will play a special role in meeting the food shortage of the people after the flood as it is cooperative and he thanked the senior and disabled welfare organizations for the great initiative.
