Big crocodile caught in remote pasture in Rakhtpur, residents in fear

The locals are holding a huge crocodile in the Khasir Char Char of the South Charbanshi Uniron of Rashtpur in Lakshmipur. The locals believe that the weight of the crocodile is close to 5.

Later, the Fatar Service men recovered it and handed it to the forest department, and the crocodile was taken into custody by the forest department on Thursday afternoon.

According to the locals, the crocodile was caught from under a poultry farm in Khasir Char, local people saw the crocodile on Wednesday morning.

It was in a pond near Bair, the crocodile came up to eat the poultry at night, and it was caught from there.

Local residents said there are four or five more crocodiles here, which have been seen since the flood.

The crocodile attacking the crocodile, Bablu and Abu, who are being attacked by crocodiles, are being treated in the hospital, and a farmer has also taken a cow, said the crocodile is now in fear of the crocodile.

Many people are not coming down the canal.

Rakht Fighter of Rakhtpur Fatur Service Abul Kalam Azad said local people rescued the crocodile and the crocodile was ordered by the upazila administration. Rescue and handed over to the forest department.

Ratpur Forest Division Range Assistant Matiur Rahman Sohag said, "We have taken the crocodile into our custody and will be sent to the district office and further action will be taken on the orders of the higher authorities."
