The police filed a case in the name of Laxmipur Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman and former Jubo League leader AKM Salah Uddin Tipu.
600 to 700 unknown people were named as accused in the case filed by Sadar Thana.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sadar Model Police Station Isachin Farooq Majumdar confirmed the poison of the case on Tuesday (August 13) around 11 pm.
In the statement of the case, on August 4, the anti-discrimination student movement was accused of injuring 8 policemen in an attack with obstruction of work.
OC Esachin Farooq Majumdar said that on August 4, the students and people took part in the anti-discrimination student movement in Madame Bridge and Jhumur area of Laxmipur in the area. The police were present in front of the Lakshmipur court to keep the situation normal.
The OC also said that a case has been filed in the name of 718 policemen in the case of obstructing and attacking the work in the act of injuring the police, which has made Sadar Upazila Chairman Tipu the main accused.
