Tarek Mahmud, Laxmipur Representative:
When the anti-discrimination student protester tried to protest in the court premises in Lakshmipur, the police blocked it. Later, when some lawyers tried to protest on behalf of the student, the lawyers of Awami League stopped the protest.
The anti-discrimination students in the city try to protest. There is also a lot of talk about the people.
The anti-discrimination student movement announced on Wednesday to hold the ‘March for Justice’ program on Wednesday with the aim of protesting the 9-point demand of genocide, gang arrest, cases, disappearances and murders against the students around the ongoing quota movement across the country.
Laxmipur Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Hasan Mostafa Swapan said that the police have taken a strict stance that no outsiders can participate in the protest in the court premises.
