Hasina has turned Bangladesh into a mass grave: Rizvi

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said that Sheikh Hasina, an ally of fascism who fled the country and settled in India after the student uprising, has turned Bangladesh into a mass grave.

He said this while distributing leaflets to raise public awareness about combating dengue in Uttara, the capital, on Tuesday (October 15).

He said that during the tenure of this government, not a single person should die without treatment in the epidemic.

Referring to the field-level reshuffle of the police, he said, "I am receiving information that 803 police sub-inspectors appointed during Sheikh Hasina's tenure are being posted in different police stations. None of them are impartial. They are all Hasina's cadre. Among them, there are 200 police officers whose homes are in Gopalganj. An investigation should be conducted into the affairs of all these police officers."

Noting that the students were martyred by being shot in the chest during the mass uprising in July-August, Rizvi said that during the movement, a police officer showed a video and told the then Home Minister, 'Sir, one dies, two more stand.' If such officers are given responsibility in different places in the police, it will be a betrayal of the blood of the students.

Questioning the Home Affairs Advisor of the interim government, Rizvi said, "How are the police who shot and killed the students still in the administration?"

Rizvi alleged that Sheikh Hasina has turned Bangladesh into a mass grave by shooting, abducting and killing students and political party leaders and activists through this law enforcement force and administration.

At that time, BNP Health Affairs Secretary Dr. Rafiqul Islam, Deputy Health Affairs Parvez Reza Kakon, North mayoral candidate Tabith Awal, BNP Dhaka Metropolitan North Aminul Haque, SM Jahangir and other leaders and activists from various levels were present.
