This war is a landmark chapter in the military history of India, where the Mukti Bahini and Indian armed forces struggled to take the freedom struggle to the ultimate success.
The post said it was a victory in which the Mukti Bahini and the Indian armed forces fought together to speed up the liberation struggle of Bangladesh, which changed the map of South Asia and gave birth to a new state—Bangladesh.
