Advocate Tajul Islam, Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal, has said that Interpol's support will be taken to bring back the fugitives abroad including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
He said this to reporters after a meeting at the tribunal's office in Dhanmondi on Sunday (October 13).
Advocate Tajul Islam said that if the judge is appointed, there will be an arrest against the accused and the ban on the country's departure against the accused.
It should be noted that the International Criminal Tribunal has filed more than 60 complaints including disappearance, murder, massacres and former top officials of the 14-party leaders and law enforcement agencies, including the investigation agency and the prosecution team, but the judges were subjected to the anti-discrimination student movement in July and August. These allegations were made in the International Crime Tribunal.
As part of this, the new prosecution team and investigation agency have been formed, and the work of amending the law and repair of the building for the trial will be held in the next week. In the same situation, the trial of the tribunal will be appointed by the next week. 39 years after independence, the International Criminal Tribunal will be formed in 2010 to prosecute crimes against humanity in 1971.
The tribunal's official journey began on March 25 of that year, after March 22, 2012, another tribunal called Tribunal-II. However, on September 15, 2015, the two tribunals were reinstated and one tribunal was upheld. As a result, the trial of 71's humanitarian criminals was ongoing.
