Rashtpur Thana police arrested 5 thieves along with 1 stolen motorcycle in the raid operation of stolen motorcycle from different areas of Rathapur city.
On Wednesday (July 3) at noon, the detainees along with the motorcycle will come to the police station.
The arrested are Sohel (30) son of Munsur Ahmed of Devipur village of Ragpur No. 10 Uniitan Sohel (30) and Antar Hossain (35), Anautar Hossain Shamim (22), son of Abul Kasem of Charmartin village of Laxmipur Sadar Upazila, Mohammad Justle (24) son of Abdur Razzak of Changpur village of Chandpur district, Mohammad Justle (24), and Nurul Islamre son of Bitara village.
The police have learned that the police raided the motorcycle from the municipal city in the city last December on the basis of a motorcycle theft case. According to the confession of the 5 thieves, the special team of the police in Chandpur's Kachuta raid conducted the bike.
In a press briefing, Ratpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Ishachin Farooq Majumdar said, "We found this gang to investigate a case in December 2023. Later, during the arrest, the police recovered a stolen motorcycle from them during the arrest.
