The government agency Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) will start selling the products of July at the subsidized price from Monday. This product will be sold to 1 crore family card holders across the country.
TCB said in a press release on Sunday that this program will be inaugurated by Commerce Secretary Moha at the Cologne T&T Colony Ansar camp ground in Banani of the capital this morning. Salim Uddin.
A buyer with a family card can buy a maximum of two liters of edible oil, five kg of rice and two kg of lentils. The price of edible oil per liter will be kept at Tk 100.
TCB has learned that with the cooperation of the City Corporation and District-Upazila Administration, dealers will conduct TCB's product sales activities as per the scheduled date and time, and cardholders can buy products from distributors' shops or designated places in their respective areas.
