Dhaka-Khulna Mahasak blockade of Bashemurbiprabi students

 Rabbi, Bashemurbiprabi Representative:

The Appellate Division has upheld the decision of canceling the freedom fighter quota system in government jobs of the first and second class invalid. In protest of this, the general students of Gopalganj Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman University of Science and Technology (Bashemurbiprabi) have blocked the Mahasak for the 4th day (Dhaka-Khulna).

On Monday (08 July) at 3:30 pm, the general students took out a protest march on the university campus and the procession circled the various sams of the campus and besieged the Dhaka-Khulna Mahasaj.

The students who participated in the program started chanting various slogans. ‘Jalre Jallo, Agun Jalo’ ‘Kotar inequality will be destroyed, the meritorious people will be released’, ‘Verify the meritorious people, cancel the quota system’, ‘Eighteen elephants, get up again’, ‘Jeghe Re Jaghe, ’Childish society has woken up, wants to cancel the quota system‘, etc.

When talking to the students who participated in the movement, they know that the meritorious students of the country are not being valued due to the quota system. In the administration of the country, the talented students are full of corruption without getting the opportunity. We are making a quota for us by making a quota.

Later, at 6 pm, the students lifted the blockade and several vehicles on both sides of the Dhaka-Khulna Mahasak during the siege. The detainees were suffering, the passengers of Gopalganj, Khulna, Barisal regions suffered.
