229 platoons of BGB have been deployed across the country including Dhaka.
The Ministry of Education has announced the closure of schools and colleges across the country, and all the public and private universities of the country, including Dhaka University, have announced that they will not leave the hall and campus. Yesterday also the protesting students stayed inside the halls.
Md Shariful Islam, the public relations officer of BGB headquarters, said that 229 platoons of BGB have been deployed across the country including Dhaka to maintain the law and order situation due to the complete shutdown.
The ongoing quota reform movement took a very violent form on Tuesday. On this day, 6 people were killed in clashes in various places including Dhaka, and the students of the protesting and Chhatra League were injured.
