School student killed in clash in Narsingdi

A school student was killed in a clash in Narsingdi during the quota movement.

The schoolboy was killed when the police clashed with the protestors on Thursday (July 18) around 4 pm. The deceased student's name is Tahmid. He is a student of Narsingdi Nachima Kadir Molla High School and Home (NKM).

Eyewitnesses said that around 3 pm, the students of the Jail Khana of Narsingdi started gathering in the district of Narsingdi, around 3 pm. The police clashed with them around 4 pm.

Meanwhile, Narsingdi District Sadar Hospital supervisor Mizanur Rahman said that there is a mark of rubber bullets on his body.

The students of Tahmid's body were re-stable to the district of Dhaka-Narsingdi Mahas and the students protested.
