UN announces $4 million in aid for flood victims

The United Nations has allocated $4 million for flood-affected people in Bangladesh, which has been known to support the flood victims in Bangladesh.

In the briefing, Dujarric said, more than 500,000 people have been known to take shelter in more than 3,400 shelters in the briefing, said that more than 7,000 schools have been closed due to floods, which has affected 1.7 million school students, which has caused a loss of 156 million dollars in the livestock and fisheries sector.

"We are working with our co-operation and cooperation in the government work to deal with the flood situation with our humanitarian support activities. We are also cooperating with the efforts being made locally to help the affected people and communities."

The flood is the fourth disaster related to the change in the waters in Bangladesh this year, he said, said that 1.3 million people have been affected by the floods in the northeastern and northern regions and this sudden flood in the current year.
