Job seekers have blocked the capital's Shahbagh intersection, demanding that the age limit for entering government jobs be raised to 35.
Hundreds of job seekers gathered at Shahbagh intersection around 1:30 pm on Saturday and started a protest, bringing traffic to a standstill at this important intersection in the city.
The protesters said they are here demanding that the age limit for entering government jobs be increased from 30 to 35.
A job seeker, who did not want to be named, said, "We have been raising this demand for the last 14 years. But we have not received a solution to it even today."
They have sought the attention of the interim government's chief advisor to resolve this issue.
