A young man named Tofazzal (30) was tortured and killed on suspicion of thief in Dhaka University (DU) Fazlul Haque Muslim Hall. He was said to have been mentally unstable.
The incident in the highest school of the country was said to be ‘heying’ by the incident, which was said by Shatkh Ahmadullah.
On his verified Facebook page, Ahmadullah wrote, "Whether it is not possible to kill even if it steals, the mentally unstable patient is killed on the suspicion of being a thief. We talk against the various garters of the country against extrajudicial killings." The so-called students of the highest university in the country have done that heinous incident, which is not accepted in any way.
He also wrote, I would like to see the arrest and exemplary punishment of those who are involved in this anarchy.
