Senior Joint Secretary General of BNP Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said, India wants to be friends with only ‘authorists’ like Sheikh Hasina. India does not want friendship between us; they are a bloodthirsty dictator like Sheikh Hasina. With the people of Bangladesh they don't like the people. They liked the one, Sheikh Hasina.
He said this at the Bangladesh Nationalist Rural Doctors Association organized at Dhaka Reporters Unity on Wednesday (September 25). On the occasion of the organization's 16th anniversary, the event was organized to give financial donations to the families of those who were missing and murdered.
Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said, ‘When a central and influential minister of India will be abusive, neglect and hate the people of Bangladesh, and when he is adventurous towards the people of Bangladesh. If you talk, then we will get emotions, then the people of Bangladesh can have emotions.
In response to an advisor to the export of hilsa fish in India and an advisor to the interim government, Rizvi said, “As per the incidence of price increase on us, we export hilsa fish, our finance adviser has asked about the question of emotion. The question of emotion comes only when we see the Home Minister of India saying, ‘If you see a Bangladeshi on the border, his feet are upwards. He will be punished by keeping it in the bag.’ Then emotions will be created in us.
Senior Joint Secretary General of BNP said, ‘Advisor Farida Akhtar's statement seems acceptable to me. She apologized and said, "I don't know if we can give hilsa fish to India or not. I see a kind of patriotism in her speech. She has spoken very strongly in this regard." People all over the country considered Farida Akhtar's speech as if she had echoed the words of the people.
BNP central leaders Nazimuddin Alam, Azizul Bari Helal, Shamimur Rahman Shamim and others also spoke on the occasion.
