The price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is increasing or decreasing in October, it will be known on Wednesday. The new price of LPG will be announced for one month on Tuesday, according to a notification of the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) on Tuesday.
It is said that according to the Saudi CP of the month of October (2024) announced by Saudi Aramco (2024), the instructions of the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission regarding the price adjustment of the private LPG at the consumer level for this month will be announced at 3 pm on Wednesday.
The price of 12 kg cylinders for the month of September at the consumer level was increased by 44 taka to 1,421 taka in the month of September, and last August and July, the price of 12 kg cylinder was fixed at 1,377 taka and 1,366 taka respectively.
In June and May, the price of 12 kg cylinders was reduced by 30 taka and 49 taka respectively to 1 thousand 363 taka and 1 thousand 393 taka. After 8 months of continuous increase, the price of LPG was reduced at the consumer level on April 3. In addition to March, the price of 12 kg cylinder was reduced by 40 taka to 1,442 taka in the month of April. In addition, in the last March, the price of 12 kg cylinders increased by 8 taka to 1,448 taka, in February increased to 1,000 taka, 1,000, 1,000, and 29, in January, the price of 12 kg cylinders was increased to 12 kg.
The prices of LPG and autogas fell five times in 2023, and the prices of LPG and autogas fell in January, March, April, June and July last year, and prices rose in February, May, August, September, October, November and December.
