Legal advisor has assured that the cyber security law will be repealed. Asif Nazrul.
He said this at a meeting at the Judicial Training Institute in the capital on Thursday (October 3) afternoon.
Asif Nazrul said that the Cyber Security Act will be repealed soon, all the black laws of the country will be canceled in the Digital Services Act (DSA) and the initiative to withdraw the cases has been taken.
Earlier on September 30, the Ministry of Law informed in a notification that the government has decided to withdraw the cases related to ‘Speech Offense’ (Muktamat Prakash) under the Cyber Act.
At the same time, if someone is arrested in these cases, he will also be released immediately through legal process, the Ministry of Law also said.
