Md. Delotar Hossain, Nobiprobi Representative:
The University Chhatra Dal has been conducting activities despite the public and private ban on all forms of politics in Nobiprobi University (Nobiprobi) in the face of criticism and protest. Recently, the activities under the banner of Nobiprobi Chhatra Dal and promoting their own party activities through social media are under criticism from the students.
On October 13, “Nobiprobi Chhatra Dal” and “Nobiprobi Chhatra Dal official” two Facebook pages, the recent posts of Chhatra Dal, were criticized in the social media groups of the university.
On the occasion of the 5th death anniversary of Shaheed Abrar Fahad, who was tortured by Chhatra League leaders and activists on October 7, he held a procession and memorial meeting under the banner of Nobiprobi Chhatra Dal outside the campus.
Zahidul Islam, the anti-discrimination student movement, said in the university's own group on social media Facebook, the Chhatra Dal is holding a showdown in the campus in front of the university gate and outside the gate of the university. The university is taking pictures in front of the main gate and Shaheed Minar.
Demanding that those who are conducting political activities should be brought under the scope of punishment, this student said, despite the banning of politics in the campus, the name of Nobiprabi is banned. It was a violation of the University's ongoing law, which said that the administration would take appropriate action against those who violated the law, and now it's time to see how determined the university's administration is in the word and work.
Another student named Humaira Tasneem Neha wrote, “Politics is the personal right of all, but politics is not on the campus. If politics is done, it will do outside the campus 101 acres. No politics in the name of Nobiprobi under any poster banner. Let politics do not have any headache, if necessary, write ”Bangladesh Chhatra Dal, Salim Mamar Tong Shop Branch". But Nobiprobi's banner will not do any politics.
Another student of ICE department named Muktar Elahi is in Hushitari Di. He wrote that the 9-point demand of the July revolution was to ban all types of party politics in the campus and ban all types of party politics in the campus by the Regent Board of the Rebellion. Now if anyone enters the campus politics, the party will have the courage to break the spirit of the revolution or the administrative law will be broken.
In the face of all such criticism, Noor Hossain Babu, convenor of the university Chhatra Dal, said that doing politics is the constitutional right of every person. We will do politics from that place, so that the general students do not get oppressed and the Chhatra Dal will work to ensure their rights. We want Nobiprobi to cancel the notification of the Regents ban by the Regent Board.
To be not to be heard, to be heard, to be heard, to be heard, to be heard, to be heard, to be heard, to be heard.
In various meetings, the leadership from the front under the banner of Chhatra Dal, Zahidul Islam said, "The role of Chhatra Dal in the anti-discrimination student movement has been many. Many of our leaders and workers have been martyred. From that place, we have the right to practice democratic student politics in the university. If you do something bad, students should point it in the eye. We applaud the criticism of the students.
Despite the ban of politics, University Proctor AFM Arifur Rahman said that all types of politics, including student-teacher politics, have been banned, if anyone conducts political activities using the name and banner of the university, appropriate action will be taken against him.
In this poison, Nobiprobi Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mohammad Ismail said, "The university has to protect the fair environment of education. Student politics will be banned. In this case, there will be action against those who violate the law. We will not sit with any political body even if the poison of politics is to start politics. If the students of the university come to the demand, we will consider that."
