The court has given a 5-day remand to Barrister Saededul Haque Sumon, a former Member of Parliament of Habiganj-4 Constituency, at the Murderer of Mirpur Model Police Station in the capital.
On Tuesday, the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate gave this Raat after the hearing in the court.

He was arrested from Mirpur-6 area on Monday night at 1:00 am, shortly before his arrest, Suman wrote on social media at 1:18 pm on Monday night, ‘I am going to the police. I will meet in the court. Everyone will do it.’
Before the arrest, he said, "First of all, I want to tell that I am in the country. I am in Dhaka city. I have not been anywhere since August 5. I was secretly in secret for security reasons."
He added that after August 5, many people have told me that you should go abroad. But I have not gone. I feel like I have never been corrupted. I have no plots and flats in Dhaka city.
Barrister Suman said, "If there is any case in my name, I will deal with it through law. Since I am a lawyer, I have faith in the law."
