On the opening day of this conference titled ‘Current Research, Innovations and Future Perspective’ in the central auditorium of SAST on Friday (October 17) morning, Professor Dr. Abdur Rab made important speeches in the presence of vice-chancellors, eminent academics, scientists and researchers of various universities in the country and abroad, and he was awarded the crest by the organizers.
The international conference organized by the Faculty of Biology of the University was inaugurated by the VC Professor Dr. AM Sarwaruddin Chowdhury was the VC Professor of Sylhet Agricultural University. Md. Alimul Islam.
Special guest was Pro-VC Professor Dr. Md. Sajedul Karim and treasurer Professor Dr. Md: Ismail Hossain.
The two-day conference is being held in six parallel sessions, with VCs of six universities in Bangladesh speaking as keynote speakers, they are - Prof. Md. Alimul Islam (Sylhet Agricultural University), Professor Dr. Md. Anwarul Azim Akand (Maulana Bhasani University of Science and Technology), Professor Dr. Hossain Uddin Shikder (Gopalganj University of Science and Technology), Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Majeed (Jesore University of Science and Technology), Professor Dr. Md. Atiyar Rahman (Rangamati University of Science and Technology), Professor Dr. Md. Roknuzzaman (Jamalpur University of Science and Technology).
Professor Md. Abdullah Al Mamun, Dean of the Faculty of Biology of the University, is serving as the convener of the conference.
