17 killed in Israeli strike on Gaza home
At least 17 people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Al-Burej refugee camp in central Gaza on Tuesday, the Civil Defense Agency in the area said. The Israeli military is targeting Hamas positions there. Mahmoud Bassal, a spokesman for the agency, said that a missile fired from an Israeli warplane hit the three-story house of the Abdul Hadi family in the refugee camp. Their teams recovered the bodies of 17 people, including children, and several others injured. Bassal added that the bodies of the dead and injured were taken to Al-Awda Hospital in the Nuseirat camp and Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the city of Deir al-Balah.
