Teaching continues without an academic building at Kalachama Government Primary School in Ramganj
Abu Taher, Ramganj Correspondent: Although it is a government institution on paper, the Kolchama Government Primary School in Ramganj, Lakshmipur, does not have an academic building for teaching the young students. As a result, the students have been taking daily lessons in the nearby Cyclone Center for the past 3 years. This has led to the collapse of primary education programs in the village of Kolchama. It has been alleged that no solution is being found despite several attempts to resolve the issue. On Monday (October 21), it was learned during a land inspection that the Kolchama Government Primary School was established in the village of Kolchama in Ramganj in 1948 on the property donated by local Ashad Mia Bepari, Abul Kashem Master, Hedayet Ulya and Sekantar Mia. After independence, the school was converted from a raw building to a one-story building with government funding in 1995.
