নতুন শিক্ষাক্রম স্থগিত করা হয়নি। শিক্ষাক্রম স্থগিত করা–সংক্রান্ত গণমাধ্যমে প্রকাশিত সংবাদ সত্য নয়। জাতীয় শিক্ষাক্রম ও পাঠ্যপুস্তক বোর্ড (এনসিটিবি) আজ শনিবার এক বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এ কথা জানিয়েছে। এনসিটিবির চেয়ারম্যান অধ্যাপক ফরহাদুল ইসলাম স্বাক্ষরিত বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে বলা হয়েছে, নতুন শিক্ষাক্রম স্থগিত করেছে জাতীয় শিক্ষাক্রম ও পাঠ্যপুস্তক বোর্ড (এনসিটিবি) মর্মে একটি সংবাদ বিভিন্ন সংবাদমাধ্যমে (প্রিন্ট ও ইলেকট্রনিক) প্রকাশিত হচ্ছে, তা সত্য নয়। তবে ১১ আগস্ট থেকে বগুড়ায় অনুষ্ঠেয় শিক্ষাক্রমসংক্রান্ত কর্মশালা স্থগিত করা হয়েছে।
