Malaysian Prime Minister arrives in Dhaka
Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has arrived in Dhaka. He was welcomed by Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus with flowers. The plane carrying him arrived at Shahjalal International Airport this Friday (October 4) afternoon. Later, he was given a red carpet and guard of honor. After the airport formalities, the Malaysian Prime Minister will be taken to Hotel Intercontinental. There, he will hold a meeting with Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus. Foreign Affairs Advisor Md. Towhid Hossain said in a press briefing at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday that a Malaysian Prime Minister will visit Bangladesh after almost a decade.
