Four people, including Nalitabari Chhatra Dal convener Farid Alam, have been arrested with heroin in a joint operation by the army and police in Nalitabari, Sherpur. Police filed a case against the arrested people under the Narcotics Act on Friday (December 6) afternoon and sent them to court. Earlier, the joint forces arrested them from the Kalinagar area of the municipality on Thursday night. Nalitabari OC Chanowar Hossain confirmed the matter.
