Miscreants entered a house in Lakshmipur Sadar Upazila and beat up an Awami League leader named Nur Alam (50). The incident took place at around 9 pm on Sunday in Panchpara village of Chandraganj Union of Lakshmipur Sadar Upazila. Nur Alam was the general secretary of Panchpara Union of Awami League. He worked as a tailor at a tailor's shop next to his house.
