We must ensure the best use of government money: Dr. Yunus
The Chief Advisor to the Interim Government, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, has given instructions to ensure the best use of government funds. He gave these instructions at a secretarial meeting held at the Chief Advisor's office in Tejgaon on Wednesday (September 4) afternoon. The matter was informed in a notification sent from the Chief Advisor's Press Wing. Instructing the secretaries, the Chief Advisor said that 'marching orders' should be given to adopt and implement reform programs at all levels of the government. Discussions and opinions should be taken with the concerned parties as needed in formulating the reform programs. Standing on the conviction and fearless spirit that the students and the public gave us in the July-August mass uprising to build a humane country without discrimination, we should stand up for our own interests, inspired by conscience and justice.
