Jamaat-e-Islam has said that three conditions must be met before the next parliamentary elections are held. The conditions are - reforms, trial of fascists and proper election procedures. Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Shafiqur Rahman said this at a press conference at a hotel in the capital on Thursday. He said that the deadline of February 2026 for the elections is not difficult. The elections can be held before or after this time, if the conditions are met. All political parties should support the government in the reform process.
