Two Chhatra Dal leaders have been accused of looting 53 sacks of fertilizer by stopping a pickup van in Hatibandha, Lalmonirhat. The incident took place on Monday afternoon in the Doani More area of Barakhata Union. Ashraful Islam of Thanapara area of Patgram Upazila illegally sold 80 sacks of fertilizer to fertilizer trader Shahjahan of Chaparhat area of Kaliganj Upazila. The fertilizers were being taken to Kaliganj in a pickup van. On suspicion, some youths intercepted the pickup in the Barakhata Doani More area of Hatibandha.
